Mother’s Near-Fatal Birth Drama

Harriet Paget lost 22 pints (13 litres) of blood during childbirth at St George’s, Tooting after a rare complication. Thanks to swift action by NHS teams, both mum and baby survived. She’s now calling people to celebrate health workers. Source

Clapham Stalker Arrested

A man who stalked women from the Infernos nightclub to their homes stayed outside one woman’s property for about 12 hours before being arrested. He pleaded guilty and now faces charges of stalking without fear, alarm or distress. Source

Clapham High Street Arrests

Police cordoned off Clapham High Street after reports of shoplifting escalated and an officer was injured. Two men were arrested nearby around midday on suspicion of grievous bodily harm. The incident caused significant disruption in the area. Source

Clapham Junction Trespasser Jailed

A trespasser who caused major rail disruption at Clapham Junction was sentenced to 57 hours in prison. The incident led to widespread delays and cancellations across southwest London’s rail network. Source

Streatham Hill Stabbing Incident

A man in his 20s was stabbed on Streatham Hill’s busy high street around 1pm. Paramedics treated him at the scene and he was taken to hospital. Police say his injuries are not life threatening. Source
