Overground Disruption on Mildmay Line

Wandsworth Celebrates VE Day with 58 Street Parties
Wandsworth marked the 80th anniversary of Victory in Europe Day with over 58 street parties across the borough. Bunting, homemade treats, and community spirit filled the streets from May 5–8. Mayor Sana Jafri joined residents, with support from a waived street closure fee and a VE Day 80 Grant Fund. Wandsworth Town Hall lit up in red, white and blue, while a new online archive shares local WWII stories to honour those who served. Source

The Wine Circuit Hits Battersea
The Wine Circuit festival takes over Battersea Power Station from June 6-8. Expect wine tastings, panel talks, and delicious street food. Kicking off with Strictly Bangers, enjoy blind tastings, a wine quiz, and DJ sets, all set in Power Station Park. Source
