Brixton Safe Hub Launched to Tackle Knife Crime šŸ›”ļø

A new Brixton Safe Hub has opened on Windrush Square as part of a targeted knife-crime crackdown. Backed by Home Office funding and attended by the Policing Minister, it offers first-response support, phone charging, first aid and a safe space while extra CCTV and youth outreach patrols work to reduce violence. A gang that used drones to fly drugs, weapons, and phones into London and other UK prisons, including Brixton, Wandsworth, Pentonville and Wormwood Scrubs, have been jailed. They organised deliveries, drivers, and lookouts while making over £30,000 from the operation. Source
